Wisconsin Dells Travel Tips
Everyone has a different experience while vacationing in Wisconsin Dells. Some have a terrible time, and may not want to come back, but lucky for us, we’ve always had a fabulous time at the Dells. We think it is because of how we handled our vacation, and the way we traveled. There are many useful tips that any vacationer can pick up that make all the difference in the world. If you want to have a good time in the Wisconsin Dells, perhaps you would be open to taking a few minutes, and reading up on our humble advice. These may be the little nuggets of knowledge that you will need so that you too, will end up having a great time!
1. Bring proper and comfortable walking shoes – The Dells is a great place, but we do have to agree with the people that say that transportation can be a bit of the problem. There are few taxi cabs to go around, especially when the place gets crowded during the summer, or on the weekends. Another con associated with taking taxi cabs is that they can get pretty expensive. Vacationers can definitely save some money by simply walking it to most places. This is why comfy walking shoes are a must!
2. The Dells really do have the tendency to get crowded during the weekends, and during the summer, so for a nice, quiet vacation, we’ve learned to either go during the weekdays or on the cooler months. The Dells can take on a different vibe when you take out the throngs of people, and you can appreciate the beauty of the place so much more! Another perk of going during the weekday is cheaper hotel rates. We feel like we save so much more by vacationing this way.
3. When you’re at the Dells, you’re on vacation, so it always helps to never take anything too seriously. You may plot out a schedule but don’t stress too much when it isn’t followed down to the T. You’re here to relax and have a good time, so just go along with the flow, and see what adventures you will have!
We hope you will not be among the tourists who end up hating the Dells. It is such a great vacation spot for a quick getaway and it really has so much to offer!
